Inter Faith Hunger Project (IFHP) is a program that provides food for those aged 55 and older and for the disabled. Working with High Plains Food Bank, IFHP purchases food for the elderly; the elderly in turn receive this food at no cost. Volunteers keep the pantry clean and in order, maintain all the records, handle the reports, and interview potential clients to determine eligibility. They deliver food and household necessities to Amarillo community members who are unable to leave their homes.

The Inter Faith Hunger Program (IFHP), strives to help any disabled or elderly person living on a fixed income. We provide a monthly supply of food through our program. First, clients can come into the store and shop for their food like in a real grocery store while retaining their dignity, or a month's worth of food can be delivered each month to their home by volunteer drivers.
