 The Adult Eye Care Program works in conjunction with local optometrists and ophthalmologists to provide eye exams and glasses for adults who have no ability to pay for these services. The eye care professionals provide all of their services free. |
Eye Care Requirements
In order to qualify for a prescription and eye glasses a person must:
- Have proof of residency
- this is as a current rental agreement or a utility bill that has your name and address
- Be employed, receive social security/veterans benefits or be a full time student
Upon approval of the application, you will receive a letter for an appointment with the doctor. You then come to our offices to pick out a frame. Finally, you will receive a local optical store voucher to request your lenses.
